Yoga Foundations | Tuesdays 6:30pm

This class invites students to approach yoga with openness and curiosity. Asana is explored through alignment, intelligent use of props, and thoughtful sequencing, supporting both the body and nervous system.

Over time, students develop greater sensitivity, steadiness, and confidence in their practice. For those interested, the class provides a clear and progressive foundation towards inversions including Shoulder Stand, Headstand, and Handstand.

Suitable for students who want to establish strong fundamentals, deepen understanding, and build a sustainable long-term practice.

About the Teacher – Jasmine

A lifelong yoga practitioner, Jasmine has been formally teaching hatha and restorative yoga since 2013, after completing her Level 1 foundational training with Fremantle Yoga Centre.

She continues to refine her understanding of yoga asana through a regular home practice and is currently studying to become a Certified Iyengar Yoga teacher under the guidance of senior teacher, Kellie Brett.

Jasmine has a strong interest in the intersection of yoga, mental health, and trauma-informed practice, and regularly facilitates yoga programs in prisons and detention centres across Perth. Her teaching is steady, thoughtful, and grounded in care.
